Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India, has lifted daytime restrictions on commercial vehicle movement after flood conditions improved. Commercial trucks can now travel in the park area between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with nighttime travel still prohibited. The initial restrictions were implemented due to the flood situation and to ensure both human and wildlife safety. Floods in the region have claimed the lives of 214 animals.
