Home Minister warns against using 'Qunut Nazilah' to pray for political rivals' destruction, condemns extremism.

Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail says the recitation of 'Qunut Nazilah' should not be used to pray for the destruction of political rivals within the Muslim community. He emphasised that any form of extremism must be rejected by peace-loving Malaysians. The Home Minister made these comments in response to opposition MPs reciting Qunut Nazilah in solidarity with Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Kamal, who was suspended from Parliament for six months.
