16 firefighters responded to a house fire in Valentine, NSW on 20th July, where smoke was detected coming from the roof. No injuries or immediate threats to residents were reported. Separately, firefighting crews battled a large grass fire at Mannering Park near Vales Point Power Station, amidst 400 Triple-Zero calls and 162 emergency calls due to strong weekend winds. Gusts of up to 89 km/h were recorded.
