DSS kills one kidnapper, arrests another in operation to rescue Hajiya Hauwa'u Adamu, mother of popular Kano-based Hausa singer Dauda Rarara. The operatives found and apprehended the kidnappers while they were sharing the ransom in Makarfi bush, Kaduna State. N26.5 million was recovered during the operation, and one kidnapper, Hamisu Tukur, was arrested with gunshot injuries, while another, Bature, was killed.
