The Chicago Cubs added RHP Jesús Tinoco (from Kansas City Royals) to their active roster, moving LHP Jordan Wicks to the 60-day IL.

The Chicago Cubs selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Jesús Tinoco, acquired from the Kansas City Royals, and added him to their active roster. To create a spot on the 40-man roster, lefty Jordan Wicks was moved to the 60-day injured list, extending his absence until at least mid-August. Tinoco, previously with the Rockies, Rangers, and Royals, has a 4.58 ERA in 76.2 innings across his MLB career.
