Azerbaijan hosts COP29 Academy opening, selecting 29 youth for environmental education and climate change combat.
Azerbaijan hosted the opening ceremony of COP29 Academy to encourage youth participation in environmental education and combat climate change. Out of 360 candidates, 29 young people were selected for the academy, receiving professional training to organize large-scale events. The ceremony was attended by COP29 President-designate Mukhtar Babayev and Chief Operating Officer for COP29 Narmin Jarchalova.
