Arkansas' unemployment rate fell to a record-low 3.3% in June, according to the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services. The state added 5,000 jobs, pushing the total to more than 1.381 million, with growth in sectors such as professional and business services, construction, trade-transportation-utilities, and private education and health services. The labor force participation rate rose to 57.7%.
