27-year-old Kyle Colcomb, a contractor, tragically died after becoming trapped in a machine at Atlantic Recycling in Rumney, Cardiff on July 8. Colleagues at M&B Hydraulics paid tribute to him as an outstanding fitter and an all-around nice guy. An inquest into Colcomb's death was opened, but suspended to allow South Wales Police and the Health and Safety Executive to conduct an investigation.
