Bulawayo businessman Mohamed Daka faces court charges for allegedly trying to take control of a mine in Umguza district and illegally selling its excavator for $150,000. Daka, 47, and co-conspirator Dumisani Dube falsely placed defunct Fools Investments under corporate rescue to seize Sheng An Mining. The excavator, valued at $281,750, was recovered by police on July 10, 2024, and Daka was released on bail.
