92-year-old Ambica Shrestha, the owner of Dwarika's Hotel and prominent tourism entrepreneur in Nepal, has passed away after battling pneumonia. Founded in 1964, the hotel is an artistic style heritage built by Nepali architects. Shrestha was also a pioneer in women's empowerment and heritage conservation, serving as the founding president of the Federation of Business and Professional Women Nepal and the president of the Nepal Heritage Society.
