Christian homeless shelter, Union Gospel Mission, challenges Washington state anti-discrimination law requiring LGBTQ+ hiring, in a federal appeals court. The mission is asking the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to revive a lawsuit dismissed by a lower court, stating the law infringes on their constitutionally protected freedom to hire fellow believers. The Alliance Defending Freedom is assisting the mission.
