UK's Integrals Power opens pilot LFP cathode material plant, supporting electromobility growth.
Integrals Power, a UK-based company, has opened a pilot plant that can produce 20 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode materials annually. The plant, one of the first of its kind in the UK, is expected to support the growth of electromobility by providing advanced battery materials. The proprietary nano-material LFP and lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) technology may help accelerate Britain's domestic battery industry, reducing the carbon footprint and enhancing supply chain security.
