The UAE unveiled an ambitious 10-year plan to build 10 hospitals globally, as part of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative. With a $150m investment, the UAE Global Hospitals Programme aims to address critical healthcare gaps and improve access to medical care for underserved communities. The UAE-Indonesia Hospital for Cardiac Diseases in Surakarta, Central Java, will be the first facility, due for completion in 2024.
