Toronto deputy mayor proposes renaming route to Rogers Centre "Taylor Swift Way" during her November residency.
Toronto deputy mayor Jennifer McKelvie submitted a motion to rename a route from Nathan Phillips Square to Rogers Centre as "Taylor Swift Way" during the pop star's six-concert residency in November. If approved, honorary signs will be displayed along John Street and Queen Street West, and the Rogers Centre will be known as "1 Taylor Swift Way." The Toronto sign will be lit red during the concert dates, with all honorary signs donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank after the concerts.
