Saskatchewan's Moose Jaw food bank is preparing to halve its hampers due to a surge in demand and lower donation rates. The food bank, which has experienced a rise in demand from 400 households per month to 800, has approximately two to three weeks of stock left. Executive director Jason Moore has warned that the food bank may run out of food by the end of August, prompting plans to reduce distributions from two hampers per month to one.
