Researchers develop stable, high-efficiency perovskite solar cells using perovskitoids.

Researchers from Northwestern Engineering and Northwestern Chemistry use perovskitoids, stable materials similar to perovskites, to address the issue of cations moving within state-of-the-art perovskite devices, enhancing their stability under high temperatures and achieving high efficiency in large-area devices. This approach could lead to a significant boost in perovskite solar cell efficiency.
