Ofcom bans mid-contract price rises linked to inflation for phone, broadband and pay TV services. From January 2025, UK telecoms providers will be required to set out any contractual price rises in pounds and pence, with clarity about when changes occur. This follows concerns that complex inflation-linked percentage figures were leaving customers uncertain about how much they would pay.
