The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Baljeet Singh, a key aide of Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Sandhu (Landa), in connection with a major terror network case involving the supply of deadly weapons for extortion. Singh, who is from Madhya Pradesh and known by aliases Rana Bhai and Balli, was found to be a significant weapons supplier to Landa's agents in Punjab. The weapons were used in various terror activities, including extortions from businessmen and others. The NIA's investigation led to the arrest of Gurpreet Singh Gopi, identified as an associate of Landa and another Khalistani terrorist, Satnam Singh Satta.
