NHAI issues guidelines to collect double toll fees from vehicles with non-affixed FASTag on front windshield to deter users from deliberately not fixing FASTag, causing delays at toll plazas and inconvenience to other highway users. SOPs have been issued to all User Fee Collection Agencies and Concessionaires to charge double user fees in such cases. Information about penalties will be prominently displayed at toll plazas.
