New Zealand's second-largest wind farm, Harapaki, operated by Meridian Energy, has become fully functional, completing a month ahead of its initial completion date and within its $448m cap. Located in Hawke's Bay, the wind farm can power 70,000 average homes, offering timely support during winter. Harapaki is part of Meridian's plan to deliver seven renewable energy projects in seven years.
