NDLEA has intercepted 7 containers of codeine syrup worth ₦9.8bn at Onne ports in Rivers State, Nigeria. This follows a previous seizure of 6,125 cartons of codeine syrup worth ₦7.35bn at the same location. The Maritime Special Operations Unit Targeting Team worked in collaboration with the Port Harcourt Ports Command and other security agencies for a joint examination of the targeted containers.
