A man was found shot dead on the city's Southwest side near Nogalitos Street and Division Avenue, and the suspected gunman later died by self-inflicted gunshot.
A man was found shot dead on the city's Southwest side early Friday morning near the intersection of Nogalitos Street and Division Avenue. Police were alerted to an argument in the area, followed by a separate call reporting a man shot in the street. Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to the head. The suspected gunman was later found off West Cesar Chavez Boulevard and turned the gun on himself.
