Iran plans to double gas exports to Armenia, extending their "Gas for Electricity" agreement until 2030.
Iran plans to double its gas exports to Armenia in the near future, announced Iranian Ambassador to Yerevan, Mehdi Sobhani. The increase follows the extension of the "Gas for Electricity" agreement between the two countries until 2030, and the upcoming operation of a third power transmission line between them. Trade between Iran and Armenia has increased significantly, with a trade turnover reaching $711m.
