Former transport minister S. Iswaran's bid to compel the prosecution to provide conditioned statements of all 56 witnesses for his upcoming corruption trial was rejected by High Court Judge Vincent Hoong. The court ruled that the prosecution is only required to include conditioned statements of witnesses that it intends to admit at the trial. The judge also dismissed arguments that there were abuses of process or serious injustice caused to Iswaran in this case.
