Georgia State Patrol investigates crash involving a Clayton County deputy and an inmate. The incident occurred on Thursday in Forest Park on Southridge Parkway, where a driver rear-ended the deputy's vehicle with the inmate. The deputy and inmate were injured and taken to the hospital. Around 45 minutes later, a sheriff's captain was hit by an elderly driver at the scene of the crash. Authorities suspect the driver may have been under the influence.
