The European Union plans to impose provisional duties on Chinese biodiesel imports, as an anti-dumping measure. The EU's trade watchdog, the European Commission, has proposed tariffs of between 12.8% and 36.4% on Chinese biodiesel, set to be imposed in mid-August. The investigation is set to continue until February, when definitive duties could be set for up to five years.
