Two deaths have been reported in Canada due to a listeriosis outbreak linked to the recall of plant-based milk products, including Silk and Great Value brands of almond, oat, and coconut milk. Twelve laboratory-confirmed listeriosis cases have been reported in the country, resulting in two deaths and nine hospitalizations. The outbreak remains under investigation, and the recalled products should be discarded or returned to the point of purchase.
