China's Beijing Capital Agro plans to invest $600m in Kazakhstan's meat farming, creating a livestock hub by 2030 with over 600 farms and feedlots. The Chinese authorities recently lifted restrictions on exporting meat products from southeastern Kazakhstan, exporting the first batch of beef to China in June. The companies expressed interest in long-term cooperation for beef and live cattle purchase.
