Central Administrative Tribunal's Jammu Bench fines former IAS officer Rs 1 lakh for filing a "mischievous and frivolous" plea against J&K LG Manoj Sinha and senior bureaucrats. Tribunal's judicial member Rajinder Dogra stated that the application filed by former IAS officer, Kumar Ranchhodbhai Parmar, was meant to harass the LG and other bureaucrats. The fine is intended to discourage the filing of similar petitions in the future.
