2 Center, Texas residents, Robert Lindley and Christal Gayle Lindley, were arrested for operating an unsuitable dog kennel with 14 dogs in poor conditions. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office shut down the kennel, leading to charges of cruelty to non-livestock animals for the couple. One dog was returned to its owner, while the remaining dogs were transferred to Nicholas Pet Haven for treatment and adoption.
