44-year-old Isauro Garcia Cruz, a Middletown man, has been formally charged in connection to a potential human trafficking investigation. His charges include rape, sexual battery, sexual conduct with a minor, gross sexual imposition, and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. The Butler County Sheriff's Office began investigating Cruz after reports of a relationship with a 15-year-old girl. Detectives later located Cruz and the teenager in Bedford County, Virginia, with assistance from the Bedford County Sheriff's Office and the FBI. Garcia Cruz was also charged with delinquency of a child in Bedford County.
