Former Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara, 33, has joined Barcelona's coaching staff on a short-term basis. The Spaniard, who retired from playing two weeks ago, will spend the summer training as a coach with Hansi Flick's team, potentially leading to a full-time position in the future. Thiago previously played for Barcelona's La Masia academy before joining Bayern Munich and later, Liverpool.
