30-year-old Cameron Jones was sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing the death of his girlfriend, 25-year-old Demi Mabbitt, in a high-speed car crash in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Jones fled the scene after the crash and falsely claimed Mabbitt was driving, leaving her severely injured. Mabbitt died a week later, and Jones was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving.
