Lagos police investigate death of 19-year-old allegedly beaten by father. A 19-year-old boy, Adeyemi, died from injuries inflicted by his father, Olumide, who struck him with a shovel. Olumide was reportedly correcting Adeyemi for an unspecified offense. Adeyemi sustained serious injuries and was taken to General Hospital Ikeja, where he passed away due to tetanus infection. The Lagos State police have begun an investigation into the case.
