Tunisia's PM requests increased EU financial aid due to high influx of African migrants.

Tunisia's Prime Minister, Ahmed Hachani, has called on European countries to increase their financial assistance in response to the surging numbers of migrants from sub-Saharan Africa. Tunisia is struggling to accommodate thousands of migrants in towns like Amra and Jbeniana, with many fleeing poverty and conflict in Africa and the Middle East. The country claims that the current aid provided by the European Union, which allocated €150 million ($164 million) in March to support Tunisian stability and combat illegal migration, is insufficient to address the situation.
