TotalEnergies has agreed to sell its 10% stake in oil and gas assets in Nigeria to Chappal Energies for $860M, including a 10% interest in 15 oil mining leases and the Forcados and Bonny export terminals. TotalEnergies will retain full economic interest in three gas-producing licenses. The deal aligns with TotalEnergies' strategy to focus its onshore presence in Nigeria on the integrated gas value chain.
