Tata Power Renewable Energy and NHPC Renewable Energy partner to install rooftop solar projects on government buildings by 2025 under the Prime Minister's Surya Ghar Yojna Scheme.

Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) and NHPC Renewable Energy Limited (NHPC-REL) have partnered to install rooftop solar projects on government buildings across Central ministries, states, and union territories. The initiative, under the Prime Minister's Surya Ghar Yojna Scheme, aims to achieve complete solarisation of government-owned facilities by December 2025. NHPC-REL, as a Scheme Implementing Partner (SIP) for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), will lead the project, with TPREL providing expertise for seamless execution.
