Saudi Arabia's Saudia Group orders 100 all-electric flying shuttles from Lilium.
Saudi Arabia's Saudia Group has signed a deal with Germany's Lilium to purchase 100 all-electric flying shuttles, with a firm order for 50 and an option for an additional 50. The first aircraft are expected to join Saudia's fleet in 2026. This is one of Lilium's largest orders yet as they develop their electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) jets, which aim to replace road trips or short flights by aircraft or helicopters.
