Rutgers Health research finds suicidal ideation, attempts, and bullying rates at least double for LGB adolescents compared to their heterosexual peers, with trends increasing among Black LGB adolescents. The research comes as the Congressional Black Caucus issues an emergency task force report on the rising rates of suicide among Black youth communities. Researchers recommend prioritizing Black LGB youth in addressing this issue.
