Providence COO Erik Wexler appointed as next President & CEO, succeeding retiring Rod Hochman.
Erik Wexler, current COO at Providence, has been appointed as the next President and CEO of the major nonprofit health system. Wexler, with 30+ years of healthcare experience, will succeed Rod Hochman, who is retiring. Wexler will focus on health equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as reducing the healthcare system's climate impact, and will join a strong senior leadership team on January 1, 2023.
