Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu appoints Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 14, 2024. Walson-Jack, currently a Federal Permanent Secretary, will succeed retiring incumbent Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan. President Tinubu expressed gratitude for Yemi-Esan's service and instructed Walson-Jack to uphold principles of innovation, integrity, and strict adherence to civil service rules during her tenure.
