National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has criticized J&K police chief R R Swain's recent remark that regional outfits are collaborating with terror leaders for "political gains." Abdullah said Swain had made a political speech and should leave politics to politicians. He also urged the Centre to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir before the assembly elections, stating that the Union territory has failed on all fronts, including combating terrorism.
