A Kansas City, Missouri, resident died after being dragged by a suspect attempting to steal their truck on Wednesday. The owner of a white Ford F-350 tried to stop the theft but was dragged and dislodged, leading to their death at the scene. The suspect fled the scene in the stolen truck. This marks the 51st fatality crash in 2024 compared to 46 at the same time in 2023.
