Irish actor Andrew Scott has received two Emmy nominations for his role in Netflix's Ripley, based on Patricia Highsmith's novel. Scott is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, and he also received a nod as a producer in the Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series category. The Emmy nominations saw FX's historical Japan-set drama, Shōgun, lead with 25 nominations, including for Best Drama Series.
