Darden Restaurants acquires Chuy's for $605m in an all-cash deal.
Darden Restaurants, parent company of Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, and other chains, announced a $605 million all-cash acquisition of Tex-Mex restaurant chain Chuy's. Darden and Chuy's have unanimously approved the deal, which includes acquiring all outstanding shares of Chuy's for $37.50 per share. The transaction is expected to be completed in Darden's fiscal second quarter.
