Alphabet's Wing service expands drone delivery in Melbourne, Australia. Lightweight styrofoam drones will deliver meals and packages to 250,000 residents in eastern Melbourne suburbs, near Eastland Shopping Centre in Ringwood. Wing, a subsidiary of Google's parent company, has been delivering packages in south-eastern Queensland for five years and partners with DoorDash for the Melbourne expansion.
