The storyline's concept began when Khan and AEW star Bryan Danielson discussed May's rising stardom in Japan's Stardom promotion during a flight in May 2023. Inspired by classic films 'All About Eve' and 'Sunset Boulevard,' the feud is set to culminate in a match at the All In event next month.
