21-year-old cybersecurity student, Amar Tagore, was jailed for 21 months for selling malicious software that enabled DDoS attacks on government and company websites. The third-year student made £44,433 from his software sales, which was used by hundreds of customers to take websites offline. Tagore was found guilty of computer misuse and breach of proceeds of crime legislation and will face confiscation action.
