The A9 has been closed in both directions near Tain following a three-vehicle crash. Emergency services attended the scene and both northbound and southbound lanes were closed temporarily. Traffic Scotland stated that nobody was seriously injured in the accident and the road has since reopened. Drivers were advised to find alternative routes during the closure.
