Vancouver Canucks sign goaltender Arturs Silovs to a two-year contract worth an average annual value of $850,000. Silovs, 23, made his NHL debut in 2022-23 and has a 2.74 GAA and a .907 save percentage in 34 games with AHL affiliate Abbotsford. In the 2023-24 season, he went 3-0-1 with a 2.47 goals-against average and an .881 save percentage with the Canucks, and is expected to compete for a full-time position in the team.
